MOONROCK PAPER COMPANY FIRST TO LAUNCH "NOT SO RUN OF THE MILL" ECO-PAPER AND ACCESSORIES TO MASS RETAILERS.

Available for the first time at the mass retail level, eco-friendly specialty paper -- Must-have's for consumers seeking green, fashion-forward paper accessories.

Burlington, Mass. August 9, 2007 - Leading a growing trend of eco-conscience consumer goods products, Moonrock Paper has partnered with the world's leading mass retailers providing them with custom designed "MOONROCK TREE FREE™" eco-friendly paper collections. These handmade collections of gift wrap, stationary and storage items feature distinctive textures, vibrant color palettes and fresh, modern designs. You can find Moonrock now at Target, Wal-Mart, Staples, Office Depot, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods and soon at Sam's Club through a distribution partner under the brand "Suite Four".

Early on the scene in 2001 with the first Tree-Free luxury brand for fashion, bridal, home storage and social engagement markets, Sue Hickey, CEO of Moonrock Paper, and her partners Kumar and Usha Shivkumar of New Delhi, India, channeled their passion for the art of papermaking into a vision. Their vision was not only to design savvy and luxurious paper accessories and packaging but a specific vision for how a modern business could be managed; from the benefit Moonrock provides to the environment by producing tree-free and eco-friendly products, to benefiting society by employing people globally in under-capitalized countries.

Nearly extinct, the ancient art of papermaking was the answer to Hickey's vision to create environmentally-safe specialty paper products where cotton scraps are used as a source for paper, instead of trees. Today, her collections follow suit with her paper designs created in India, where 100% virgin cotton excess is in abundance and the impeccable craftsmanship of traditional papermaking is unsurpassed. Moonrock Paper's products are handmade by artisans and trained workers who shape and mold each piece. It is an art form that is highly specialized and unmatched by any mill-based paper production process anywhere in the world.

From a design aspect this affords fresh ideas and a platform for limitless techniques such as printing, embossing, marbling, embroidery, hand-painting and silk-screening. From beautiful gift wraps and bags covered in striking hand printed paper to a tower of playful polka-dotted storage boxes, each product and accessory makes a personal statement that is innovative, provocative and unmistakably distinctive.

"Moonrock Paper is clearly not your run of the mill paper company", states Sue Hickey, "and what makes us such a rare find is that we strive to be a different kind of business. Moonrock addresses a multitude of strategic economic objectives; our products offer one of the only true cradle to cradle recycled product platforms that exists, our company promotes economic development and sustainability in rural 3rd world villages, and our brand promotes elegant, specialty paper and accessories to consumers, demonstrating that with a thoughtful and creative vision, much can be achieved."
